Waiver of Liability, Assumption of Risk
The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization and is reported to be contagious. Our current knowledge of the virus is believed to spread from person-to-person contact and possibly by contact with contaminated surfaces and objects or in the air. People reportedly can be infected, show no symptoms and therefore spread the disease. The exact methods of spread and contraction are unknown, and there is no known cure for COVID-19, at this time. Evidence has shown that COVID-19 can cause serious and potentially life-threatening illness and even death.
Despite significant efforts to regularly clean all vehicles and equipment used to transport passengers and take appropriate measures to mitigate the presence of, or exposure to the COVID-19 virus, CoTo Travel, its bus company partners and partner institutions, cannot prevent you [or your child(ren), family and guests] from becoming exposed to, contracting, or spreading COVID-19 while utilizing CoTo Travel’s services. Actual presence of the virus is an unknown and it is not possible to always safeguard said vehicles and equipment against the presence of the disease.
Therefore, if you choose to utilize CoTo Travel’s services and/or enter onto/into CoTo Travel’s premises or buses, you assume any/all risk of contracting or spreading COVID-19 or any other communicable disease.
CoTo Travel encourages all passengers to wear proper face/breathing protection, follow CDC guidance and bring their own personal protective equipment (disinfectant, face masks, protective gloves, etc.)

FAQs About the Service
THE MOST FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTION
I tried to purchase a ticket, made a selection, selected “PC Only” as Payment Option and entered my payment information. After all that, the system froze and I didn’t receive a confirmation email. What happened?
Our processing system is sensitive to the type of operating system you’re using. The payment will NOT process if you did not make the correct indication on which system you’re using and can almost guarantee that you were not charged for that transaction. If you run into this problem, first retry your purchase and select “Apple/Android/PayPal” as Payment Option and follow those prompts (PayPal account is not needed to pay by credit or debit card). If you still have trouble purchasing a ticket, please call us at 1-877-724-4360 and Press 3.
If we find that you were charged for both attempts (PC Only & PayPal), we will contact you to process a refund.
1. When I purchased my ticket online, all I received was a PayPal receipt. How do I get my tickets?
When you purchase your ticket, you will receive two emails, one from PayPal and the other from our company. We have received reports that all email accounts connected to Gmail, including Holy Cross emails, have had their reservations placed in the Spam folder, so please check there first prior to contacting us.
2. What is your cancellation and refund policy?
Please note that reservations made for this service are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-transferable. Any cancellation made by a purchasing party will result in a full forfeiture of payment.
3. What do I need to board the bus?
When checking in for our bus, please show us your PDF ticket and a valid photo ID (drivers license, non drivers license, passport or NYC ID card). The ticket is sent to you in an email with your confirmation and credit card receipt. You may show your ticket on your smartphone or other device or print it out.
4. What time should I arrive to board the bus?
We kindly request that you arrive 20 minutes prior to the stated departure time on our schedule above. We depart all locations on time based on the GPS device located aboard the bus, weather and traffic pending.
5. How many bags can I bring with me on the trip?
Each guest is allowed two (2) carry on bags and two (2) pieces of luggage that can be stored under the bus in the luggage bay. You MUST be able to store your carry on in the overhead compartment or under the seat in front of you upon request of our staff at any time during the trip. No bags may be stored in the aisle of the bus.
Shipping and storage boxes or any other container that does not fall into the traditional definition of luggage (anything that isn’t a rolling suitcase, duffel bag or oversized backpack) must be declared during the reservation process by emailing us at info@cototravel.com with subject line “Oversized Luggage Request – (Travel Date and Locations).” An additional $100 per item requested for transport will be assessed on these items and payment must be made online at least 24 hours prior to departure.
6. Are you able to accommodate passengers who require the use of a wheelchair?
For this service, guests who require the use of a wheelchair during their travel with us MUST select the option for “Special Needs – Request a Wheelchair” when they are reserving their tickets online.
7. What type of bus will be used on this trip?
Our company manages this transportation program on behalf of the College of the Holy Cross. To fulfill our obligation to you, our guest and the college, we contract with reputable, fully insured motorcoach companies. While most trips will operate with vehicles equipped with restrooms, there may be instances where we may use smaller vehicles including mini buses and vans to operate the trip. We will provide full guidance on what type of bus to expect, what it looks like, and in most cases, the name of the driver or greeter to whom you will check in with the day before each trip via email.
8. Who is CoTo Travel and what do you do?
