INAUGURAL STARTUP TOUR INTRODUCES PHILLY STARTUPS TO THE NYC TECH SCENE THIS APRIL
PHILADELPHIA, 29 MARCH 2016 – CoTo Travel, a Philadelphia tour, event and transportation company, is proud to announce the launch of Startup Tour, an event series designed to connect members of startup communities across the country to each other. The first trip, Startup Tour PHL>NYC will introduce Philadelphia startups to the tech and startup scene in New York City on Monday April 25th.
The inaugural event is presented locally by Benjamin’s Desk and the Philadelphia chapter of Startup Grind. “Startup Tour PHL>NYC presents a unique opportunity for the Philly startup community to tell our story to members of the New York tech scene,” says Anthony Maher, Co-Founder and CEO of Benjamin’s Desk and Chapter Director of Startup Grind Philadelphia. “Benjamin’s Desk and Startup Grind Philadelphia proudly support endeavors that help increase Philly’s profile on a regional and national stage.” This message of learning and awareness was echoed by Brian Antolin, President and CEO of CoTo Travel saying, “Our goal is to help each attendee learn how to navigate and work with NYC startup & business community now and in the future.”
This daylong event begins at 9am on Monday April 25th with check in and registration before boarding a charter bus enroute to New York City. Scheduled activities include: a Meet & Greet lunch, where attendees can briefly share their work and business needs with members of the local business community, an Open Working Session at a local coworking space in Midtown Manhattan and tickets to Startup Grind New York featuring a fireside chat with Morgan Hermand-Waicheck of Adore Me.
A limited number of spots are available on Startup Tour PHL>NYC’s trip this April. Tickets start at $125 for individuals.
